Discipleship Groups

For help in choosing a group, contact Jeanne Higgins at elvish999@yahoo.com or call the church office to leave a message. All group leaders can also be contacted directly through your directory or by contacting the church office for contact information.

Many groups meet twice a month except during church-wide weekly studies.

Daytime groups

  • Cook (Sweetwater) Wednesdays 11 a.m.
  • Women’s Bible study: at Redeemer in ministry center 9:30 a.m. Thursdays weekly. Contact Mickey Fust. Currently studying Death and Resurrection of the Messiah by Ray Vander Laan. Women’s Bible study is an open group that always welcomes newcomers.
  • Men’s Bible study: In the parish hall at Beth Israel 7 a.m. Thursdays weekly looking at the topic of the coming week's sermon . Contact John Peed. Men’s Bible study is an open group that always welcomes newcomers.

Redeemer Sunday morning group:

  • 10:30 a.m. in the ministry center. Contact Oren Reedy or Jana Prater. This group is always open to newcomers and is a great place to start. Begins study of the "I am..." sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of John on March 30th.  This will be taught by Redeemer's adult education Emmaus team.

  • Steen (PVB) Thursdays 7 p.m.

Fort Caroline/Arlington

  • McCaslin (Arlington/Hodges) Tuesdays 7 p.m.
  • Capell/Crombie (Hidden Hills) Thursdays 7 p.m.

Southside:

  • Salko (9A/Baymeadows) Mondays 7 p.m.
  • Thorwart/Baldwin (Avenues area) Sundays 6:30 p.m.
  • Peed (rotates) Wednesdays 7 p.m.
  • Parsons (Deerwood) Fridays 7 p.m.
  • Wooley (9A/Baymeadows) Fridays 7 p.m.
  • Hall (Southside/JTB) Tuesdays 6 p.m.
  • Daughters of the King: an order committed to prayer, service and evangelism. Meets second Monday in the ministry center at 7 p.m. Contact Gene Lewis.
  • OPEN HOUSE: College-Age and early Career Group. Sundays weekly 6-8:15 p.m. at the Lebhar’s house. See directions and more information below.

Mandarin and South:

  • Zeiners (Loretto/St. Augustine) Sundays 6:30 p.m.
  • Westbrooke (St. Augustine Rd/I-95) Women's Bible Study - Mondays 7 p.m.

Open House, Sundays, 6:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

For those in the beginning of their careers, college students, & high school seniors.

Directions to the Lebhars’:
3031 Secret Woods Trail West.

From the South or the beaches
Take Butler (202) to Belfort Rd. exit, following hospital signs.
Go north on Belfort past St. Luke’s Hospital on right.
Go straight through the light at Touchton Rd.

OR

From the North
Take Southside Boulevard heading south.
Go through the light at Hogan Road.
Just before Tinseltown, at the next light, take right onto Touchton Rd.
At end, turn right on Belfort Rd.

THEN

At the next corner before the small church on left, take a left onto Hilsdale.
Go almost to the end. At the Secret Woods neighborhood sign, take a left onto Secret Woods Trail. At the stop sign, take a right onto Secret Woods Trail West.
