Adult Discipleship

Where will adult education classes meet? There is one classroom in the office complex.
When will adult classes meet? We will offer an adult class periodically on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.  Check the bulletin or adult page for more information about current schedule.
Are there other adult programs planned? We encourage all adults to be part of a small group community and to serve in some kind of ministry either at the church and/or in larger community.
How are small groups impacted? Small groups, which meet in homes, will be unaffected by the move. We will have a continuing emphasis on discipleship through our small group ministry.
What will happen to Men’s and Women’s Bible studies? Women's Bible study will meet in the office complex classroom.  Men's Bible study will meet for breakfast in the parish hall at Beth Israel.  See adult page for more information.
Will there be an all-church study? We expect to have an optional study for groups to do in conjunction with the sermon series in Lent.

Children

What are the nursery accommodations? There will be two rooms for the nursery, one for infants and one for toddlers, available at both services.
When will Children's Church meet? It meets during the early service for Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Children will be dismissed from the service before the readings and will return at thePeace.
What about Promised Land? Our children's Sunday school will meet during the second service.  Children should report directly to the classrooms in Beth Israel (4th/5th grade in the ministry center).

Facilities

When will we have access to the Beth Israel location? The primary times will be Sundays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
What if Beth Israel moves? The current lease for the Beth Israel location runs to January 2008. Beth Israel’s intention at this time is to renew their lease.
Where are the bathrooms? Where is the nursery? Ushers and greeters will be able to direct people.
What about weddings, funerals and baptisms? Several congregations have graciously offered use of their sanctuaries for these and other special occasions.
What about Wednesday evening suppers? We are hoping to continue to have regular programs starting in the fall on Wednesday evenings but without dinner.
Do spouses of folks buried in the memorial garden still retain their reserved future "spot" in the garden if they have already paid for it? In that those arrangements were generally made with Redeemer as a parish in the Episcopal Church, the Episcopal Church will presumably honor them. However, that will be a decision for the Diocese of Florida to make. The diocesan phone number is 356-1328.

Youth

Where will Redeemer Student Ministries (RSM) meet after the move? RSM meets at the same times in our Ministry Center on Baymeadows Road.

Worship

What kind of music equipment will we have at the new place? We will have the equipment we need to replicate fairly closely what we have had for worship music in our current space. There should not be much of a change.
